Attorney Gallardo was born and raised in Los Angeles, California to immigrant parents which provided him a first-hand understanding of the struggles that many immigrant families experience as they strive to pursue their American Dream.  With this unique perspective, he decided during his high school years to pursue a career defending the rights of the underserved immigrant community as an immigration and criminal defense attorney.    

Attorney Carlos G. Gallardo and firm founder has practiced immigration law and criminal defense for over 11 years representing clients before immigration courts, criminal courts, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), U.S. Consulates, Immigration & Customs Enforcement, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the U.S. Department of Labor.  Apart from running his private practice law firm, he is also a trusted consulting attorney for the Mexican consulates in Los Angeles, CA and Oxnard, CA.  

He earned his degree of Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law where he also obtained a certificate from the Public Service Law Program. During his years in law school Mr. Gallardo kept his commitment to helping his community by participating in the UC Davis Immigration Law clinic, working with the Sacramento District Attorney’s Office, and interning for the Volunteer Legal Services, Employment Law Clinic in Sacramento, CA.  Attorney Gallardo was also a Summer Fellow for a civil litigation firm in Sacramento.  

In order to keep the public informed about immigration and criminal law, attorney Gallardo has been interviewed on various television news programs on Univision 34, Telemundo, CBS, and others.  

Attorney Gallardo graduated from the California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Business Law.  While he was a student at CSUN, he worked as an extern for the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California.   

Attorney Gallardo is a member of the State of California Bar and the following organizations: American Immigration Lawyers Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, San Fernando Valley Bar Association, and California Attorneys for Criminal Justice.
